Our range of guided walks in the UK provides something to suit all experiences and abilities, from the challenging Coast to Coast, to the shorter Lakeland Traverse. And for those that are happy to follow a provided guidebook and maps then we now offer self-guided walks where we book the accommodation and move your luggage from stop to stop and you just take in and enjoy the experience!
UK Self-guided Walks
Our range of self-guided walks in the UK range from the challenging Coast to Coast, to the shorter Lakeland Traverse. We make all the accommodation arrangements, provide you with a relevant guide and maps then move your luggage from stop to stop so that you can fully immerse yourself in the experience.
Cumbria Way – 8 Day self-guided walk, National trail.
Come and Journey with Badger Adventures along The Cumbria Way, 73 miles/177km through majestic fells and farmland, along the banks of the lakes that make up Cumbria.
Cleveland Way – 10 Day self-guided walk, National trail.
Come and join us and trek one of Yorkshires oldest National trails. This Cleveland Way trail is a trek of two halves, a roller coaster ride across the North York Moors then along the Coastal path route.
Coast to Coast West Route – Lake District Walking
Half of Wainrights famous Coast to Coast route.
The Lake District Traverse trek is ideal for people that don’t have the time to complete the full Coast to Coast. This trip offers 7 days walking and follows the first part of the Coast to Coast route from St. Bees to Kirkby Steven.
Coast to Coast – 15 Day – self-guided walk, St. Bees to Robin Hood’s Bay
A fairly challenging 15 day trek along Wainwrights long distance footpath resting at carefully sourced accommodation, where you’ll be assured that your luggage has turned up after a day roaming some of England’s most scenic surroundings.

Hadrians Wall, 9 day self-guided walk.
Follow in the Roman footsteps on our full length 9-day self-guided walk along Hadrians Wall. Explore Roman Forts, Milecastles and Museums and all that Hadrian’s Wall has to offer from Bowness to Wallsend.
Come and journey along The West Highlands Way, which is one of Scotlands most well known Long distance path, 155kms, from Milncavie, just outside Glasgow, to Fort William.

Coast to Coast – 16 Day, St. Bees to Robin Hood’s Bay
A fairly leisurely 16 day trek along Wainwrights long distance footpath resting at carefully sourced accommodation, where you’ll be fed and watered after a day roaming some of England’s most scenic surroundings.
Coast to Coast West Route – Lake District Walking
Half of Wainrights famous Coast to Coast route.
The Lake District Traverse trek is ideal for people that don’t have the time to complete the full Coast to Coast. This trip offers 7 days walking and follows the first part of the Coast to Coast route from St. Bees to Shap.
Pennine Way – Yorkshire Dales Section – 5 Day Trek.
At 65 miles/104 k , the Badger trek starts at the bottom of the of the Yorkshire Dales and then heads north.
Pennine Way – Edale to Malham – 6 Day Trek.
At 78 miles/125 km this Badger trek starts at the bottom of the Spine of England, where we trek through the beauty of the North Pennines to Malham.
Pennine Way – North Section – 9 Day Trek.
This trip is 9 days of walking. At 118miles/190k , the Badger trek starts at the bottom of the of the Langdale Valley and finishes up at Kirk Yetholm.
Accommodation
All our accommodation is pre-selected for its location, value and how well it fulfils the overall journey. For trips where all normal meals are included (please check description), travellers can choose anything from the menu for that location.
